The Hunt Has Begun
My first day of dress shopping... 2 cities, 5 shops, 4 hours, and 40+ dresses later.... :) My mom, Jenna (one of my MOH's), and my aunt came along for the adventure helping me in and out of the poofy glittery dressing weighing in at a little over a hundred pounds each (well it seemed like it). I guess I didn't realize how picky I was but whenever I said that they all would just double over in laughter....hm. Anyway, it was a lot of fun, may have found "the one" but don't want to be finished quite yet as we are scheduling a new adventure soon ...new city, new dresses, and new people to drag along....I mean to help.

Good luck with the dress hunt Angie...I remember looking for dresses. I swear I tried on over 100 dresses in 5 or 6 different stores. Remember to relax and have fun. It can be a really great time if you let it! My mom & I shared a lot of good laughs while trying on some of the UGLY dresses...helps keep things in perspective! Good luck and have fun!

It's funny how some people go through the looking-for-the-right-dress-and-trying-on -everything-on-in-sight stage, and others who just have always known what they were going to wear on their wedding day.
My looking consisted of internet bridal sights, and once I saw exactly what I had already had in mind, there was no more looking OR trying on!! I found out what bridal shop carried the brand name and went in to get measured and placed the order that same night.
However, they made me try on something they had in the store, but nothing compared to what I already had in mind...
So, yes, I do wish you luck and, of course, lots of fun in finding "the one."
For some, it's just the looking that makes it all worth it, especially when you have great friends and a loving mother to experience it all with. :)
